Having such an emotional attachment to a place is both a blessing and a curse.

A blessing because you know it’s home and nothing makes you happier than just being there. You feel this immense joy and nothing compares to that feeling.

A curse because when you’re not there, you feel like a part of you is missing. Your life is nothing more than the same dull and gray day-to-day routine.

Maybe it won’t work out. But maybe seeing if it does will be the best adventure ever.

The Buddhists say if you meet somebody and your heart pounds, your hands shake, your knees go weak, that’s not the one. When you meet your ‘soul mate’ you’ll feel calm. No anxiety, no agitation

This year taught me that my loneliness has more to do with myself than anyone else. The loneliest I will ever be is when I do not have the strength to love myself.
